Graphite Pencil – sold

This portrait of Bronte is one of my absolute favourites. She is a beautiful and very clever girl, being a spaniel, and this pose shows off her character and face perfectly. The portrait is full of mood and movement and atmosphere. I tried to express that movement through the use of lines, and not too much fine detail. I thought it turned out rather well!

    Hey Ali … This is absolutely superb … so expressive … and I keep on telling everyone that you can paint me under the table … even with your eyes closed. Bronte’s brilliant; Lilly’s superb and your new website is brilliant. So glad to see you getting your hand in again. Keep goin’ and don’t stop. P
